Who we are

Nonprofit Standing is run by JHIZ Commerce LLC, a private company, 1908 Thomes Ave, Ste 12514, Cheyenne, WY 82001. We are not part of the IRS, the U.S. Treasury or any state, and we are not affiliated with any of them.

What you buy

For $149, paid once, you get one written report about one U.S. nonprofit organization. It shows the organization's standing with the IRS and with its home state: federal tax exemption, revocation status, filing history for the last four tax years, corporate standing at the Secretary of State, and charity registration where the state requires one. Where something needs fixing, it lists the steps, forms and fees the agencies publish, with the source and date for every line.

A person reads every report before it is released. You receive it as a PDF within one business day of your order. The price includes one free re-check within 60 days of delivery: ask by replying to the delivery email and we read the same records again and send an updated report.

What it is not

  • It is information from public records, not legal or tax advice, and it does not make us your lawyer, accountant or adviser.
  • It is not a certificate of good standing. Only the state issues those.
  • We do not file, sign or submit anything for your organization, and we do not speak for it to the IRS or any state.
  • The IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search and the state business and charity searches are free to anyone. You are paying for the report that puts them together and explains them, not for access to those records.

Dates and accuracy

Public files lag. Every finding carries the date it was read, and we check the IRS lookup on the day the report is released. If we cannot confirm that a state record belongs to your organization, the report says so instead of guessing. The report does not cover state tax exemptions, local licenses, payroll, sales tax, or states other than the home state. If you show us a factual error, we correct the report at no charge.

Refunds

We refund the full $149 if you cancel before we send your report. If we cannot produce your report, we refund you in full without being asked. Once we send your report, the sale is final, and your free re-check within 60 days of delivery still applies. Refunds go back to the way you paid.

Limit on our responsibility

If anything goes wrong with a report, the most we owe you is what you paid for it.
